Beacon Bay is known as the “Garden Town” of the Amatola region and is home to tree-lined streets and attractive residential properties. Beacon Bay is a suburb of the greater East London and is situated in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa about 10 minutes' to the north-east of the city centre, and is located between the Nahoon and Quinera rivers. Beacon Bay is close to local amenities and is about 20 minutes from the East London airport. |

Bonza Bay, its admired beach, is just off the Quinera Lagoon. The lagoon provides safe bathing. Canoes and boats can be hired here, with the water slides an added attraction for children and adults alike. Visitors are always welcome at the Beacon Bay Country Club, on the banks of the Nahoon River, with facilities for various sports. Beacon Bay has modern shopping complexes, supermarkets, boutiques and restaurants to add to a tranquil lifestyle. |
