Kuils River is a town in the Western Cape province, South Africa. It is situated in what people like to refer to as the gateway to Cape Town's wine routes.

Notably, Kuils River is home to the Alta du Toit School for mentally handicapped children and also Jan Kriel School for children with attention deficit disorder. Kuils River has three public high schools and three public primary schools, De Kuilen high being the most academically respected.

The Zevenwacht, Langverwacht and Dormershire are the three wine estates in town and is also home to a Manguani spa branch. From the highest point on Zevenwacht, an incredible view is offered - from Gordons Bay through the Cape Peninsula and all the way to Durbanville Hills. All mayor amenities such as the Tygervalley Centre, Fairbridge Mall, Somerset mall and the newest addition Cape Gate, are easily accessible.

It receives the lowest rainfall of 10mm in January and the highest of 89mm in June. The average midday temperatures for Kuilsrivier range from 16.6°C in July to 27°C in February. The region is the coldest during July when the mercury drops to 7°C on average during the night.
