| | | Principal : | | | | Surfers consider J-Bay, 75 km west of Port Elizabeth to be one of the top three surfing spots in the world. They come from everywhere to ride the breakers at Super Tubes, east of the main bathing beach. Other popular surf spots are Magna Tubes, Albatross, Kitchen Windows and the Point. Big name surf shops dominate the main drag, giving the town a permanently relaxed atmosphere. J-Bay is in every respect a holiday town complete with aging funfair, water slides and quad bike rides.
